Can I get credit for the clerkship with my medical school once I have completed the course?
This varies from school to school. However, we will work with your medical school to ensure you obtain the best experience to acquire credit for what was completed. An evaluation can be completed by the preceptor, signed by the program director and submitted to the medical school upon request from the medical school.
Can I obtain a Letter of Recommendation (L.O.R.) upon completion of my training?
Yes, this is possible. However, this would be at the discretion of the preceptor. Typically this is based solely on your performance and whether you have met all the objectives during your tenure with the preceptor. Preceptors are aware that most trainees are seeking an L.O.R. upon completion.
