STEP 1: Registration

Online application starts on April 17, 2024.

Candidates can apply via our website: applications for FALL 2024

Lists of qualified candidates will be published on:

  • TBD – I list of qualified candidates
  • TBD – II list of qualified candidates

*additional applications are accepted only in the case of not exceeding the limit of seats during regular application process.

 

Application process:

  1. Choose program that you are applying to.
  2. Fill in the application form found at: application form
  3. Upload scans of:
    1. Passport size photo
    2. Passport valid for atleast 1 year
    3. High school diploma
    4. Transcript of grades
    5. English language certificate (if applicable)
  4. Check whether you filled in each field correctly and submit application.
  5. Pay the application fee

REMEMBER!

If you apply for additional programs you need to pay the application fee individually for all of them. 

All submitted documents must be translated into Polish or English.

Please remember that if you are a Polish citizen or have a dual citizenship you cannot apply directly to the English Division. You must to use the Polish path of admission. Please contact us for details.

STEP 2: Recalculation of grades

Candidate must have completed Biology plus one additional subject listed below:

Grades obtained in high school would be recalculated into application points

Each subject gives a maximum of 100 application points

STEP 3: Interview & Qualification Test

INTERVIEW

Each candidate must take part in the entrance interview:

The entrance interview consists of questions divided into the categories listed below:

 – Motivation
 – Empathy
 – Teamwork
 – Career aspirations

The maximum number points amounts to 100 – results would be published with list of accepted candidates.

The interview lasts 5-10 minutes for each candidate.

The interview will take place online. Additional information for the online interview process will be provided to candidates approved for an interview.

*Only candidates who upload the required documents to their application account and pay the application fee before the interview will be allowed to attend the interview.

Interviews will be recorded by Admissions Committee in case of any appeals against the score granted to candidate.

Each candidate should log in into the online platform 15 minutes before the given time. Candidate who is late will not be allowed for the interview.

Candidates must have a valid ID with photograph (passport, driver’s license, etc.) and be included in the list of reviewed candidates.

Please make sure that your network is stable. It is highly recommended to have an additional network available in case of poor internet connection.

Poor Internet connection, causing interruptions may result in terminating the interview for the candidate.

 

QUALIFICATION TEST

Each candidate must take part in the qualification test

The qualification test consists of 20 multiple choice questions from the category mentioned below:

• Life & Mathematical Sciences Terminology

The maximum number of points amounts to 100 – results will be published with list of accepted candidates.

The test lasts 20 minutes.

The test will be carried out online – more organizational information will be provided to approved candidates.

STEP 4: Qualification

Maximum number of points to be obtained is 300

Candidate needs to obtain at least 60% of the points from recalculation of grades and at least 60% of points from the interview.

Candidates who fail to score 180 application points would not get qualified for admission in regular application.

 

Additional application [conducted between August 1 and August 31, 2024]

Candidate needs to obtain at least 50% of the points from recalculation of grades and  at least 50% of points from interview.

Candidates who fail to score 200 application points would not get qualified for admission in regular application.

STEP 5: If you are qualified

Qualified candidates need to submit the following documents within the given timeframe:

  • Certified copy of passport
  • Certified copy or original High School diploma
  • Certified copy or original High School transcript
  • Certified copy or original English Language certificate
  • Health certificate
  • Hepatitis B vaccination certificate
  • Health Insurance Policy
  • 1 printed photograph

Instructions on where and how to mail the documents will be informed to each candidate if the candidate is selected by the Admissions committee. All submitted documents should be originals or certified copies (i.e. originally sealed and signed by the eligible institution/person).

If the documents are not in English, translations must be attached (into English or Polish) certified by an approved institution (e.g. the issuing body or a sworn translator).

Dates for submitting documents*:

April 17, 2024 – July 31, 2024 – for candidates qualified in the regular application process
*submitting documents after the deadline may result in not being enrolled

Nostrification of high school diploma

Recognition of certificates or the level of education or rights to continue Education is not necessary in case of:

  1. certificates or other documents issued by schools operating in educational systems of the EU, OECD or EFTA members, which allow access to higher education institutions in those countries;
  2. IB diplomas (International Baccalaureate) issued by International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva;
  3. EB diplomas (European Baccalaureate) issued by European Schools in accordance with the Convention drawn up in Luxembourg on 21 June 1994;
  4. certificates issued in countries with which Poland has signed bilateral agreements concerning the recognition of education (certificates issued under the agreements which expired will still be recognized on the basis of those agreements).

All other high school diplomas have to be recognized in Poland, therefore you need to provide the university with:

1) Original certificate/diploma or its certified duplicate legalized by:

  • Polish consul in the country where certificate was issued or in the country in which educational system a school operates;
  • educational authorities in the country where the certificate was issued or in the country in which the educational system a school operates;
  • an embassy or consulate of the country where certificate was issued or in the country in which educational system a school operates located in Poland or in other EU, EFTA or OECD country;
  • if a certificate was issued by a country – party to the Hague Convention of 5th October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement for Legalization for Foreign Public Documents, an original certificate, its duplicate or a certified copy with an Apostille placed on it or attached to any of those documents must be submitted.

2) Translation into Polish of the certificate/diploma presented in a foreign language done by:

  • a Polish sworn translator, or
  • a sworn translator registered in any of EU, EFTA or OECD country, or
  • a Polish consul in the country where the certificate was issued, or
  • an embassy or consulate of the country which issued the certificate or in which educational system the school operates located in the territory of Poland.
